citizentv.ng debuts

Abuja, September 5, 2016-

The board of trustees of the Association for Development Communication and Advocacy is pleased to announce the birth of its online publication www.citizentv.ng

citizentv.ng  is a wholly development-based publication focusing on issues that affect the lives of Africans and African communities including health, research, energy, environment, agriculture, good governance,  as well as water and sanitation.

Our aim is to pay attention to topical issues on the continent with a solution minded focus.

We believe in the power of communication for social change.

In the pursuit of a better Africa, we are motivated by the ‘golden rule’ as propagated by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation: ‘All lives have an equal value’.

Indeed, every African deserves the chance to live a healthy and productive life.

citizentv.ng is an open source publication and provides press release circulation services, jobs listings, in-depth analysis of issues on the sector and general stories with particular focus on the sustainable development goals and developments in general.

Our aim is to be the number one go-to source for credible information on all things development in Africa and our target is to hit at least 1 million readers within our first year.

citizentv.ng is managed by Ogechukwu Ochuba who is a trained lawyer, public communication specialist and a blogger.

Ogechukwu is also the Public Image Coordinator of Rotary International, District 9125.

While Ogechukwu serves as Managing Editor, the publication is supported by a team of professionals who serve as contributors and columnists.

The publication is published by the Association for Development Communication and Advocacy (ADCA), a non-political, non-profit and a multidisciplinary non-government organization whose vision is a society where progress towards sustainable growth and development is maintained.
